I sea you

Remember the lovely couple Nadine + Gonçalo, who shot their gorgeous engagement session on the grounds of the Mafra National Palace? Well, that was part one. Part two whisked them away from the green gardens to the blue sea, on the stunning Foz do Lizandro beach in Ericeira. The bright sunshine, the perfect breeze and the love in the air did the rest…

Katerina + André, by Maria Imaginária

Hello everyone!

As September keeps on being busy, we bring you another beautiful wedding shot during this year. Today is all about Katerina + André: she’s Greek and he is Portuguese and they are both professional poker players. They met at a professional tournament and during vacation on the beautiful island Zakythos, André proposed.

They chose magical Sintra for the wedding, dressing up at the magnificent Palácio de Seteais, getting married in São Pedro Church and having the reception at Casa dos Penedos, a former private house.

The rest was history, and nothing similar to a fat greek wedding, oh no no no… it was a day to celebrate and connect: two lovers, two families, two cultures got together and share their customs, traditions and love… and that is always beautiful!

Hello new season!

And we are back!

Summer is slightly fading (cooler mornings and late afternoons, shorter days), and our vacation is finished, so let’s start preparing the new season, with fresh ideas, beautiful images and inspiring weddings.

September is in full throttle and in Portugal the most busy month of the year, so while our selected vendors are in busy bee mode, we make sure that you will be properly entertained!

Explore #5

Between Lisbon and the Algarve you’ll come across wide open fields dotted with cork oaks, a place where time seems to stand still, where mother nature is exceptional, where you’ll find secluded beaches, stunning rivers and dams, where you’ll taste food and wine like you’ve never tasted before, where the Portuguese way of life is slow and savory. Welcome to Alentejo…

Wear #4

We can never have enough shoes, right? And at this moment shoes have never been so much fun – take the Marie Antoinette collection by Portuguese luxury brand Josefinas, for instance! Fun, flirty and feminine, the colors alone (we’re especially fond of Bubble!) are enough to make you want to scoop them all up! And how cute would they look on a bride who wants to swap into something more comfortable before hitting the dance floor or on your favorite bridesmaids?!

Come on, put a bow on it!
