Entertaining the idea of an elopement wedding (or even a destination wedding!) in a Portuguese palace, located in one of the beautiful forests of the country’s gorgeous northern region? Well, Pixel has shot a styled video that brings together just that… and we have to say that the backdrop – the Hotel Vidago Palace – is absolutely stunning.
It may be imaginary, but it feels oh so real, oh so beautiful!
And summer has arrived! Pardon our excitement, but spring was missing this year…
So, let’s end up this week with the gorgeous wedding of Sofia + Miguel, captured by sweet duo Vanessa & Ivo Handmade Films:
“When we think about this couple, we get all warm and fuzzy: we just loved them and we would go back to their wedding day, every day! They are open, sweet and passionate, they invited us to their life, served us a glass of wine and put some music on…
How can we not love doing wedding films?”
Just sit back and enjoy the glorious day of Sofia + Miguel, filled to the rim with happiness.
The venue is Parque da Penha, a magical location in Guimarães, up north.

Another gorgeous wedding is what we are bringing to you this week:
Patricia is Brazilian and Cyril is French, up north Portugal is where they decided to get married.
The beautiful Forte de São Francisco, in Chaves, was the venue chosen by the couple: a fortress, originally a convent built in the 16th century, turned hotel with a charming little chapel and all of the modern comforts.
To celebrate their love, people came for allover the globe: Brazil, Portugal, France, Switzerland, and what a party this was…
Check out the beautiful and graphic work of photographers Menino conhece Menina, our selected vendors… Just magic!
Last year, the photographer Rita Ribeiro da Silva, from R2Arte, was contacted by polish couple Aleksandra + Wojtek: they were coming to Lisbon, on a trip with family and friends, to explore our beautiful country and, actually, getting married at the Polish Embassy.
The civil service was truly intimate and with such good vibes and funny friends, it did feel like a real party!
The day after was for leisure, with a walk around town and every iconic spot, for a relaxed e-session.
Rita got word from the couple, after they return to Poland: the pictures were shared with family and friends (the extended version!) at the second wedding celebration, and everyone was flooded with emotion!
How cool is that?
Helena + Pedro’s wedding was everything but usual. A modern take on tradition very well captured and edited by De Alma e Coração.
